Digital Piano Performance: Resonating Reflections with Lee Pui Ming

Lee Pui Ming is an improvising pianist and composer. She will play a concert of improvisations inspired by the landscape, breadth and breath of Kai Chan’s work.

Textile Seminar: Silk Textiles from Around the World

A fascinating behind-the-scenes look at artifacts from the TMC’s collection with curators Natalia Nekrassova and Roxane Shaughnessy.

Magic Squares: The Patterned Imagination of Muslim Africa in Contemporary Culture

Artist Panel 7:30 – 9 pm
Join artists Jamelie Hassan, Tim Whiten, Alia Toor and Hamid Kachmar after the opening reception of Magic Squares for a discussion of the intersections between their work and the richly diverse patterned imagination of Muslim Africa. Co-produced with Subtle Technologies and the Institute for Ismaili Studies.
