Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the Afghan War Rug Sale, held Feb. 15-18 at the Textile Museum of Canada.
A special note of appreciation goes to Max Allen, founding curator of the Museum, who donated rugs from his own collection to the Volunteer Association. Thanks also to TMC Volunteers and Museum staff who collaborated in preparing, mounting and selling the rugs.
Thirty-three rugs were sold, with proceeds to be used to benefit the Museum’s collections.
