Become a TMC Volunteer!

We are currently looking for new people to fill a few openings as volunteers at the Textile Museum of Canada.

There are a number of different jobs and shifts available. Our volunteers play a crucial role in the day-to-day work of the Museum at the front desk, in the shop, in the library and as docents. As well, we spend many happy hours organizing and running sales, assisting at openings, and attending special events to promote the Museum, such as the Creativ Festival and Big on Bloor.

If you have an interest in textiles, a few hours a week (or each month), and are interested in joining a friendly and committed group of Museum friends, please have a look at the volunteer application.

Perhaps you volunteered at the Museum in the past, have taken a break and wish to rejoin. You are more than welcome! Students and those who work part-time can often be accommodated (TMC Volunteers must also be members of the Museum).

You will find the application on the Museum website.

Once you fax it in, or drop it off at the front desk, you will be contacted for an interview.
