Fate, Destiny and Self-determination

Life, Destiny and Self-determination, Toronto Weaving SchoolWeaving instructor, Line Dufour, is leading a spectacular collaborative project that involves people from around the world including many interested tapestry weavers in the Toronto area.

Volunteers, staff and members of the Textile Museum are welcome to join those working on the tapestry at the Toronto Weaving School. No experience is required and you are not required to sign up for any classes. Participants will be included in the documentation when the piece is exhibited, as well as appearing in a video (if they wish) that is being made about the project as it unfolds.

Another aspect of the project involves shapes that correspond to the main tapestries. These pieces are arriving daily from all over the world. Visit the blog  or the Facebook page to see the progression of the tapestry project.
