Come to Fibre Space on Wednesdays in July and August from 1-4for Thread Journeys. Members of the Education Committee will be on hand to provide assistance in exploring textile techniques that relate to current exhibitions. Marilyn Penley is making a God’s Eye in the photograph while Julia Bryant unwinds a skein of cotton for weaving on the floor loom. In the foreground on the table is a cardboard Marudai you can use to make a Kumihimo braid to take home. Please join us and invite your friends. Suitable for fibre enthusiasts over 5 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
