Over the years, I have met many museum visitors (still) singing the praises of #KaffeFassett. But many Fassett fans have also simultaneously decided to part with his books and donate them to our sales; the universal reason seems too be — his projects are technically too challenging!⠀ ⠀ Interesting in purchasing one of these Kaffe Fassett books? Come visit H.N. Pullar Library at @textilemuseumofcanada. We're open Monday to Friday 1:00 - 4:30 pm, additional opening hours on Wednesday nights 5:00 - 7:00 pm.⠀ ⠀ In case this post has inspired you to finally take up one of Kaffe Fassett's challenging #knitting projects, don't forget to check out our Workroom Sale on Tuesday at 411 Richmond East 1:00 - 3:00 pm for some fine wool yarn.

STRAND NEWS is the online meeting place for more than 130 volunteers of the Textile Museum of Canada in Toronto, Ontario. Our fundraisers, More Than Just a Yardage Sale and For the Love of Cloth, support TMC exhibits and programs. The Museum relies on the dedication, knowledge and talent of the volunteers whose collectively contribution to the Museum is equalivalent to nine full-time staff positions.
