Updating Contact Information

With the AGM coming in a few months, the Volunteer Association is going to start trying to update the contact information of volunteers. To make the process easier, we’ve been developing some software to allow volunteers to easily update their own information. You’ll be free to update it any time you like, though we will always pester you before the AGM. The emergency contact information will also be on-hand for staff in the museum or at sales.

The first thing we want to tell you is: no passwords. We didn’t want to burden you with having to remember another password, so we didn’t. Instead, you enter your membership number and initial and a single-use password is emailed to you. Everything you need to know is on your membership card and it’s secure because it gets sent to your email account.

More details are on the way. In the future, we intend to expand the software to help with shift scheduling and other administrative tasks.

The following are examples of what you will see when it is time to Log in and update your information…
